CEYNOCTA is a software development company, with a presence in Sri Lanka for 6+ years. We provide software solutions for clients in Australia, Russia, UK and USA. We are looking for people who love coding, and willing to be a part of our development team.
The selected candidates will be required to work with team of software engineers and coordinate/report work with managers in Australia & Sri Lanka.
Software Engineer (PHP)
The Job:
We are looking for a mid level PHP developer with minimum 1 year industry experience. You need to be an excellent team player with strong research and development skills. Experience in mobile application development in Android/iOS platforms will be an added advantage.
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree / HND in computer science or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar capacity
• Experience in Object Oriented programming and MVC design patterns
• Knowledge in PHP/ PHP related frameworks such as Codeigniter, Symfony 2, Laravel etc and MySQL databases will be an added advantage
• Ability to write clear and maintainable code with good quality and standards
• Experience in mobile application development environment in Android and iOS will be a bonus
• Experience in working with open source CMS customizing such as Drupal/Wordpress and Magento/OSCommerce will be a plus.
• Good understanding on Javascript, JQuery, bootstrap, Ajax, Node JS, Angular JS and CSS 3.
• Familiar with Git repositories
• Hands-on experience in Linux operating system with command-line use and shell scripting
• Can do attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and ability to problem solving with research
Senior Software Engineer (PHP)
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years industry experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Experience in enterprise scale application development and the ability to understand and apply design patterns based on this experience.
• Proficient in PHP related frameworks (Codeignitor,Symfony, Laravel) and MySQL databases and database queries.
• Proven skills on Understanding Newer Project environment and Coding standards
• Very good knowledge on HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, JQuery Framework, bootstrap,Ajax and CSS 2/3.
• Familiar with Git / Bitbucket
• Experience in working with open source CRM and CMS systems and prior experience in customizing open source software applications is an added advantage.
• Exposure to working with overseas clients is an advantage
• Possess good problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
