A Hotel complex with 100 luxury guest rooms including 24 Deluxe Rooms, the Palmyrah Restaurant and Extensive Conference and Banqueting facilities has vacancies for:

Kitchen Executive / Supervisor

– Candidate will be responsible for organising the entire administrative activities in the kitchen and ensuring everything in the kitchen runs smoothly.
– More specifically candidates should be able to take room service orders from guests, roster kitchen stafi check minimum stocks available in the kitchen and order ingredients accordingly carry out portion control, overlook food presentation and make sure all safety and hygiene standards are met.
– Applicant should be below 45 years and be fluent In both spoken and written English and Sinhala.
– Although experience In handling kitchen operations and stores will be an advantage, those without such experience will be considered.
– Experience in hotel trade will be an added qualification.
– Any culinary background will also be a benefit.

The selected candidate may expect an attractive remuneration package with service charge commensurate depending on their qualifications and ability.
