Job Description:
The person will be responsible for piping material related engineering activities in a taskforce for execution of projects and work under the guidance and leadership of the Lead Engineer / Group Leader.
The incumbent has to perform in the Material section for onshore refinery, petrochemical and gas processing areas including but not limited to: –
– Development of Pipe Classes and Valve Material Specifications
– Preparation of Technical Purchase Specifications (TPS), Technical Queries (TQ) and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE)
– Preparation of Technical Notes
– Preparation of Specification for Special Items
– P&ID checking for correctness of material requirements
– MTO Processing & Evaluation, Material Control
– Preparation of IBR Package
– Tender Preparation
– Documentation and Record Keeping
– Ability to check and review the work done by other team members.
