Our client is a globally expanding “Digital Gift Card Platform” solutions company based in Europe, is looking for an experienced “Senior Business Analyst” to work join their team in Colombo immediately.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Business Analyst with Product Ownership, you’ll drive the vision and roadmap of our business web suite (B2C and B2B webshop and e-commerce applications) to the next level.
If you are passionate about technology and eCommerce, this is a unique opportunity for you as a technologist to help us build something that will directly enhance the lives of millions, by supporting contactless digital Gift Card solutions.
Have a close eye on the data while working closely with stakeholders and teams to learn about business challenges and collaborate with them to make decisions that’ll drive product development towards B2C and B2B sales and conversion.
Lead the development of brand-new applications as well as updates to existing systems.
Oversee the full lifecycle of development projects, keeping them on the scope and on budget.
Identify and document business requirements accurately, create epics and user stories in JIRA for the teams to pick up (so your written and oral communication skills need to be pretty fabulous).
Take full ownership and drive product development from ideation to delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Product Development or relevant field.
3+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related field of work.
Hands-on experience in product development within e-commerce or online marketing.
Experience at start-up/start-up projects is an advantage.
Good exposure to Agile methodologies and be able to identify and document epics and user stories.
Exposure to Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar.
Confident speaker and active listener with great interpersonal skills.
Self-propelled, strategic problem solver, and savvy team player.
Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
