The Job:
• Prepare the annual data analytics plan with the collaboration of Data Analytics Team and other Audit Units.
• Carry out data analytics based on the agreed plan by extracting data from data warehouse and data library.
• Develop analytical models that will meet the objectives of the planned analytics and execution of the analytics.
• Analyze the extracted data and generate value adding reports to be submitted to the Board Audit Committee and the business.
• Carry out ad — hoc analytical reports as and when needed based 00 000 developments in the business or new trends as noted by the internal auditors.
• Carryout research on the data analytics literature and implement latest techniques used on the analytics carried out.
The Person:
• Minimum 07 years experience in a Bank or Financial Institute of which 04 years in Auditing or 06 years experience in Auditing with strong analytical skills and logical approach in solving problems.
• Full/Part qualification in Banking/Finance or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Sound knowledge in MS Excel and analytical computer software tools such as ACL and SEQUAL and ability to use Querying Language (SQL) will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills coupled with interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
