Merchandiser

You have an opportunity to join our team and contribute towards creating the paradigm shift.

The person we have in mind ideally should:

– be dynamic and assertive
– have an impressive track record with a minimum of 5 years experience in a reputed organization
– a team player and a leader
– ability to work independently and handle different customer accounts independently right from costing to shipment.
– computer literate with a good command of the English language. Wiling to work under pressure to meet deadlines of buyers.
– be able to communicate with our customer in the UK and handle developments and FOB pricing independently.
– Professionally qualified least with a diploma from a recognized institution in the relevant field.
– ability to work under minimum supervision.
– GCE Advance Level – Age limit 25 to 30 yrs.
– sound knowledge of fabric knit/woven styles and sampling.

Merchandiser – Development and Costing

The Candidate should hold an academic/professional qualification in marketing. A qualification in textile/fabric technology is beneficial. A minimum 5 years experience in product development, costing and negotiating prices with international buyers and suppliers independently. Should communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Should have applicable knowledge on fabric, trims and garments with various finishes. Effective time management. Skill prioritization capabilities and performing under pressure is imperative. Should be proactive, assertive and forward thinking. Should be able to take ownership in delivery, operational excellence and be a performance oriented team player.
