PEAK opened its Sri Lankan service centre in January 2013 to deliver quality service to the business.
We are looking for a talented PHP & Drupal Developer to join our growing web team in Colombo.
About the Role The ideal candidate should be from a strong PHP background with experience in working in a supportive team which serves organizational requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Manage, develop and optimize Drupal implementation
• Co-coordinating with themers to release templates and custom functionality
• Provide accurate progress updates
• Ensure all risks and issues are escalated to the project manager
• Preparing and maintaining documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT
• Extensive understanding of PHP, CSS with at least one year experience in Drupal is preferred.
• Experience in the use of source control i.e. SVN or CVS or GIT
• Experience with LAMP environments including interacting with a shell interface
Added advantageous given to candidates who possess:
• Experience developing for Drupal 6 or 7
• Exposure to web analytics package
• Knowledge & practical application of ecommerce
Skills and Attributes:
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly acquire new skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a team environment with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Ability to adopt new workflows and development practices.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
