Job Description:

J2EE Programmer, required for a company in Pune, India.

– Should be able to write programs indecently.
– Good at advanced J2EE concepts such as Distributed transactional computing, n-tier J2EE architecture, Distributed multitier applications, Java 2 platform, J2EE components, Container services, Container types, J2EE servers and Containers and Application deployment architecture.
– Good understanding of J2EE packaging, Common J2EE design patterns, J2EE lifecycle and roles.
– Should know how to use the inbuilt classes like Validator class and how to separate the view from model and controller in J2EE architecture.
– Should have good knowledge of build scripting and build tools like ANT. J2EE includes technologies like HTML, Javascript, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Struts, XML,EJB. Should be comfortable with Struts 1.2 / 2.0.
– Should be familiar with Unix / Linux environment.

Skills:

– Development – Responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of complex components of a project module.
– Works on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and application of own judgment.
– Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad supervision/ guidance.
– Requires solid knowledge of Java Struts Programming.
– Expected to further build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary ss to reach levels of expertise.
– May guide new members in the team to help them scale up faster.
– Experience 1year to 3 years in J2EE domain.
– Education BE/MSC/MCA/MCS/ME/MS.
