clients in UK, USA, India, Malta and Australia.
You will take a key role in restructuring the internal IT Systems, infrastructure and external hosting servers to improve reliability, redundancy, and documentation.
You should have the ability to independently diagnose technical issues and provide quick and accurate solutions within a collaborative setting.
Exposure and thorough knowledge in the following areas is a definite must for this role.
– Linux working environment (Preferably Ubuntu or Debian)
– Installing configuring and maintaining systems and services
– Shell scripting
You should have a thorough knowledge and experience in some or all of.
– Relational databases, Particularly in Postgres
– Apache Tomcat
– Dovecot IMAP
– Postfix
– Nagios
– Amazon EC2
Pre- Requisites for the position:
– Excellent communication skills in both Spoken and Written English is an absolute MUST.
– A degree or equivalent qualifications with at least 3 years commercial experience.
– Ability to work well within a team in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
– Someone who takes pride in the quality of his/her work and is always customer focused.
– Experience with JavaScript, especially jQuery would be highly regarded.
