Company is seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the following position.
Fund Supervisor – JB Vantage Unit Trusts
To safeguard customer, to supervise and monitor unit trust company to ensure strictly following investment guidelines and comply with regulations and to validate the accuracy of fund’s net asset value for the interest of unit holders.
Key Responsibilities
• Check the transactions input by registrar vis a vis transaction forms
• Supervise the cash reconciliation of the funds and reports/instructions send to front office and trustee
• Ensure follow up is done with custodian on receipt of security documents on each investment & trade
• Verify the account data input on registrar system for each new account
• Coordinate SEC filings by working with fund accountants to prepare reports
• Calculate monthly sales force incentive payments and make payments to advisors, custodians and distributors
• Monitor fund performance, information preparation and update the website
Requirements
• Part qualification in Accountancy
• Over ten years experience in Accounting, Finance or Banking
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Attention to details and quality in work
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent service, interpersonal and communication skills
