This person will be driving the migration of an airline company’s traditional software architecture or environment to transform it to a DevOps agile approach.
– Previous hands on experience working in a DevOps team, alongside engineers and developers
– An ability to implement scalable solutions: you know how to design systems that go from small to big.
– 2+ years experience deploying to, and managing complex AWS environments — ideally multi account using AWS organisations in high volume systems
– Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas clearly
– Strong scripting ability in Python, Bash, Perl
– Experience implementing and maintaining Cl/CD platforms
– Experience in installing and configuring DevOps tools (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, VSTS, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, or similar tools)
– Experience with Continuous Integration, TDD, Agile, Lean and other engineering & delivery practices
– Endlessly passionate about automation (of all the things!)
– Agood understanding of multiple programming/scripting languages with the ability to adapt to new languages
– Passionate about containers, microservices & serverless technology
– Relevant AWS certifications are highly regarded although not essential —- we’re more interested in what you’ve done in production than in a lab!
