Senior Engineer – Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence

You should ideally:
– possess 4 years’ experience in the field of IT including at least 2 years’ experience in data warehousing & BI
– a Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computing / Data Science would be preferred
– experience in banking and financial domain will be an added advantage
– have strong capabilities in SQL and minimum of 1 year experience in extracting data from multiple DBMS including MSSQL, Oracle, etc.
– have an understanding of data warehousing concepts é& dimension modeling and possess good knowledge in ETL techniques and tools
– possess experience in using either R or Python
– have strong analytical thinking, ability to detect anomalies, and good problem solving skills
– be a good team player
– possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills and a positive, confident personality
Your main responsibilities will be;
– creating ETL (preferably SSIS), data extraction process from source systems to the Data Warehouse
– creating reports and dashboards (preferably on SSRS, Tableau) as per the business user requirements
– bug fixing and testing the reports, dashboards and data structures
– developing data models (experience in R or Python)
