Senior Assistant Accountant (Male)

Checking and reconcile a wide variety of accounting documents such as Payment vouchers, petty cash vouchers, Journal vouchers, goods receive notes and prepare & checking of bank reconciliations, checking, of ledger accounts, preparation of final accounts, maintaining & updating of assets register, prepare workings & reports for management, compile and review information for accuracy, and maintain records. Work is performed by applying knowledge of accounting terminology and using spread sheets and/or automated accounting system.

Candidate Profile:

– Part qualification in accounting
– Two years experience in a capacity of Accounts Executive/Assistant Accountant
– Two years experience in a reputed Audit firm
– Sound computer literacy in Accounting software & ERP systems
– Between the age group of 25-30
– Ability to work with minimum supervision
– Ability and willingness to work long hours
– Sound knowledge in English & IFRS
– Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
– Ability to lead and guide a team of assistants
– Candidates residing near to Thalawathugoda, Maharagama, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Nugegoda, Pitakotte, Battaramulla, Raiagiriya, Piliyandala and Homagama are preferred.
