Planning Manager (Hambantota District)

Job Profile:

– Develop. forecast and plan anticipated demand on annual and monthly basics by product group. product line and point of sale.
– Develop and keep product life cycle management process that can be integrated in to demand planning.
– Work Cross-functional with product management and supply management and full fullement to implement Collaborating forecasting process.
– Perodic strategic reporting to senior management on key performance indicator with recommendation to help company achieve its business targets.
– Thought leadership to develop and roll-out innovative demand planning and execution processes and best practices to enable its customers to more responsive to the market place
– Plans and prepare production schedule for manufacture of industrial.
– Analysis production specification and plant capacity. data and performance mathematical calculation to determine manufacturing process, tools and human resources requirements.
– Plan and schedules work flow for each dept and operations according to previously establish manufacturing sequences and lead time.
– Expedites operations that clearly schedule and alter schedule to meet unforeseen conditions.
– Prepare production reports.
– May prepare list of required materials. Tools, equipment and purchase orders to obtain materials. tools. and equipment.

Accountabilities:

– Degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering from a recognized university or equivalent from a reputed institution.
– A minimum of 08 years related working experience in planning function with a least 05 years experience in managerial grade.
– Good command of both spoken and written English knowledge and Chinese language is an advantage.
– Ability to work under pressure to meet target and deadline.
– Should have excellent communication interpersonal, planning and analytical skills and decision making skills.
– Very good computer literacy.
– Immediate available in highly preferred.
