Hotel Accountant (Sri Lanka)

Accountant position available for an experienced individual to join a
mid-sized 4-star hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
We are looking for a dynamic & passionate team player with
experience in the hospitality industry who can lead by example.
Responsibilities:
Leading the finance team, directly report to property manager on daily property operations while reporting to the management from a functional basis.
Overall responsibilities in finances related to property which covers areas such as monitoring revenue related controls, PMS and POS controls, managing financial requirements of day to day operations, petty cash monitoring, purchasing and stores monitoring, daily/monthly management reporting, budget preparation and monitoring etc.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Degree/Professional qualification in accounting.
Advanced skills in MS Office and accounting softwares.
Experience in using PMS (Property Management Systems).
Strong analytics and reporting skills.
