Position Title: Financial Analyst

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and produce regular analytical reports, tables and graphical analyses of performance data
• Responds to Ad Hoc data requests from the Client and is involved with ongoing projects to develop and enhance Brightstar’s suite of automated reporting tools
• Work collaboratively with cross functions/administrators to improve the data structures, processes and data quality
• Assisting in the development of PowerPoint Presentations
• Compilation of data for periodic reporting
• Co-ordinate accounts payable, receivable, general ledger and reconciliation functions Preparation of all periodic and monthly journals
• Work collaboratively with cross functional and regional finance teams
• Month end regional reporting while ensuring financial and management reporting are accurately presented
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Research US GAAP and IFRS if there is query from business unit in regards to accounting treatment of new business and other transactions.
• liaise with external and internal reporting stakeholders
• Verification of invoices from vendors & review payments
• Overview Bank reconciliations
• Manage cash flows
• Prepares weekly cash flow forecasts
• Ensure monthly treasury reporting pack is completed properly and sent to Brightstar Corporation on time
• Ensure all tax reporting and payments are filed and paid on time.
• Other ad-hoc jobs as specified by the Finance Manager.

Position Requirements:

Qualifications Required:-

• University Degree in Finance and
• Professional Qualification. CA. CIMA or ACCA

Professional Experience:-

• 3-5 years of experience in financial, management and treasury accounting roles
• Sound knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Sound knowledge of tax legislation

Skills:

• Good Excel & PowerPoint skills requisite
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP preferred
• Sarbanes Oxley experience an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Pro-active
