We are expanding our teams and are on the lookout for a Data Centre Administrator

We want to be perfect in what we do.

We seek Data Centre Administrators who are interested in a fastpaced environment and can maintaining our data center that supports our Internet-based business.

This role reports to the VP of Data Centre Operations and involves working in our Global IT Services team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an open, dynamic environment and collaborate closely with our global teams.

Responsibilities of the position will include:

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and reviewing system and application logs
Analyzing systems errors or anomalies, as well as server performance issues and /or error messages, in order to ensure maximum system availability and service quality and assess trends that may ultimately result in degradation of service
Problem documentation related to any incidences that resulted in systems failures or downtime including documentation of the problem and resolution
– Patching of operating Systems, applications, and the Company’s SaaS product
– Linux/Windows Administration
– Creat and update network documentation, procedure documentation, and operational guides.
– Perform daily, weekly and quarterly Checklists. (ex. Backup job Status, Drive Space monitoring, server logs etc).
– The Position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to work as part of a team or independently.
– Working on US time Zones in order to provide real-time support to our global offices.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following background and experience:

– A Bachelors degree, with a technical major such as Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
– 2-3 + years Linux / Windows Administration experience.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills.
– Ability to multitask multiple projects.
– Linux or Microsoft Certification a plus.
– Experience with TCP/IP and Internet Communications is a plus.
