The Neelan Tiruchelvam Trust (NTT), – A Sri Lankan philanthropic organisation supporting peace
building, social justice and reconciliation, is presently looking for a qualified professional to fill the above vacancy.

Working together with the Executive Director and the Finance and Investment Committee, the Manager Finance & Administration will be responsible for the overall financial management and administrative operations of the Trust.

Key responsibilities would Include:

– Oversight of the Finance function (financial planning & control, accounting, reporting and treasury management)
– Oversight of administrative functions (logistics, procurement, maintenance, premises management and IT related functionalities)
– Oversight and management of the investment portfolio
– Management of Project finances
– Management of donor funds in accordance with donor agreements

following minimum requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

– Member of ICASU ClMA(UK)/ or ACCA (UK) with 3 – 4 years post qualifying experience in a
similar capacity preferably in the ‘not for profit’ sector,

OR

– Intermediate Level qualification of the ICASU CIMA (UK)/ ACCA (UK) or equivalent accounting /
finance qualification with 08 years’ post-qualifying experience in a similar capacity preferably in
the ‘not for profit’ sector.

Skills and Experience:

– Thorough knowledge and experience in Fund Accounting principles and donor reporting
– Knowledge of investment management
– Good management, organizational and planning skills
– Good writing and oral communication skills in English
– Working knowledge of accounting packages, preferably QuickBooks
– Good ITI Systems knowledge
– Experience in Human Resource functionalities will be desirable
– Ability to read/write in Sinhala/Tamil will be an added advantage

Candidates should be willing to travel within Sri Lanka if required, able to work independently and be
a team player with a positive attitude.
