Front End Developer (Freelance/Contract)
Requirement:
– 3+ years experience in web technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS, AJAX)
– Experience in using Javascript frameworks (Jquery, Prototype, etc..)
– Experience in using Web related technologies (JSON, XSLT)
– Experience in Responsive web design practices
– Ability to meet tight deadlines
– Obsession for clean, readable, organized, commented, elegant code that is manageable and scalable.
– Strong web portfolio required (showcasing the aforementioned skills)
Candidate needs to be a problem solver/analytical thinker and needs to have good communication skills.
E-book Developer/Architect (Fulltime/Parttime)
Requirement:
– 2+ years experience in eBook development and conversion
– Formatting books into eBooks by hand-coding standards compliant HTML, XHTML,CSS, and running various scripts. You will also be responsible for the clean-up, proofing, and other text conversion processes
– Experience with traditional publishing processes, desktop, and e-publishing processes and their systems (i.e. Adobe CS).
– Strong knowledge of the EPUB3 specification required.
– Critical eye for detail and a desire to maintain consistently high levels of quality control.
– Visionary, team player, and has the ability to lead, teach, and manage deadlines and people.
Candidate needs to be a strong team player, a problem solver/analytical thinker and needs to have good communication skills.
