Quality Assurance and R & D Executive
A leading ISO 9001:2008 certified herbal drugs manufacturing company having island wide distribution, seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic individual for the post of Quality Assurance & R & D Executive for their production facility at Puwakpitiya, Awissawella.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the right quality of the all incoming raw materials and packing materials as well as for semi-finished and finished goods
• Implement, and maintain a quality plan to bring company’s Quality Management Systems and Policies.
• To achieve & maintain ISO 9001 & GMP or relevant certification at commissary
• Responsible for handling product’s quality complaints
• Follow up with vendor and purchase team regarding any deviation from specs/quality in the raw and packing materials.
• Ensuring the proper and effective implementation of the SOPs for production, quality and handling, packing during New Product Launch
• Handling customer complaints
• Scientific methodology implication on research and development of product
• Assessment and ensuring quality checks
Education and Experience:
• Graduate from a recognized university or an equivalent professional qualification in Science, Microbiology/Chemistry, Food science & Agriculture
• 2 – 3 years’ of work experience in relevant field
• R & D experience in herbal medicine would be added advantage
• Should have Knowledge in MS office packages
• Should possess Good communication skills
• Age preferably below 40
