Trainee Electrician (Sri Lanka)

Virideo group is a new start up renewable energy company operating in Sri Lanka and Indonesia providing solar photovoltaic solutions to domestic and commercial clients.
We require trainee/ apprentice electricians to support our technical team on upcoming projects.
Responsibilities of the successful applicant will include:
– Assisting the design team in product development
– Installation of solar electricity solutions on customer sites
– After sales support and fault analysis
– Panel wiring, construction and installation
– Ordering and receiving of materials
– Liaising with external contractors and regulatory authorities
– Dealing with a wide range of people in all levels of the industry
The successful candidate must have following educational qualifications:
Minimum Advanced Level: 2 credit passes preferably from Math stream
Technical training:
Diploma or a certificate holder from a nationally recognized technical training institute.
It will be advantageous if the candidate is from electrical or electronics stream

The successful candidate will possess:
– Experience in general electrical installations
– Ability to perform electrical maintenance work
– Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
– Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organizational skills
– Basic IT skills: Microsoft Office
– Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations
The successful applicant will enjoy working to deadlines, be focused, be passionate about their work and have the ability to work under pressure when needed.
