GOBA is a welfare Association for government officers since 1909 and incorporate an Act No. 27 of 1971. Main objects of the Association are to grant loans to members, to promote thrift among our members & ect.

We are looking for a smart, energetic & a result oriented male for the post of Internal Auditor (Contract)

Job Role:

• Lead and direct the internal audit function, including managing the internal audit team, in order to realize business objectives of the Association.
• Prepare the annual internal audit plan covering all processes and execute the plan accordingly & submit timely reports.
• Review accounting and internal control systems against bench marks and make recommendations for improvements.
• Responsible for physical verification of stores, assets & cash balance as per assets registers and reporting.
• Should be able to handle auditing independently and directly reporting to the committee of management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Part qualified (CAB II or above) in ICASL.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an audit firm or an internal audit division of a reputed finance organization.
• Male candidate below 30 years of age.
• A resident around Colombo preferred.

The right candidate will be entitled to an attractive remuneration package. (not less than Rs. 35000.00 per month)
