Engineering Manager

The Job:
– Ensure required machinery are available to facilitate uninterrupted production process of the group
– Maintain plant and machinery at the highest standard
– Effectively manage all aspects of projects and plant maintenance of the group
– Redesign and modify machinery requirement to increase the overall operational effectiveness
– Effectively network with machinery suppliers and related service providers
– Ensure an effective inventory management system is utilized for the timely availability of machines and spares
– Develop the team in making them capable of meeting the expected deliveries/outcomes
The Person
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. MBA would be a definite advantage
– Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a similar managerial role with 5 years of apparel industry experience
– Good command of English language and MS Office literacy
– Able to work to deadlines, priorities, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a challenging and results oriented
environment
– Should be a self-motivated team player with flair for excellent communication and coordinating skills.
