Jr. Network and Desktop Support Engineer (Hyderabad)

Job Details:
– Will be maintaining desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software, and ensure uptime of production systems across all departments.
– Recomm and perform upgrades, ad-hoc updates and patches to ensure longevity and security of computer systems.
– Primary job responsibility involves preventive maintenance against breakdowns and failures of IT equipment.
– Will have to work with vor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment, software, networks and ISPs.
– Will be a part of administration of the network, run through a UTM firewall, and connected to multiple high speed Internet connections.
– Will also be responsible for maintaining and improving company IT security.
– Ensure proper usage of computers, Internet and emails among staff by monitoring and maintaining security logs of their LAN/WAN usage, and reporting improper usage to the management. Performing desktop computer audits regularly and /maintain audit reports, will also be a part of it.
– Will be responsible for allocation, configuring and upgrading of the computers to staff.
– Will have to work with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software, whenever required.
Candidate Profile:
– Long-term commitment.
– Good organizational and logical thinking ss to diagnose and resolve network and hardware related problems.
– Knowledge on installations and troubleshooting of operating systems and basic software.
– Knowledge on maintenance and repair of computer hardware.
– Should be able to maintain proper documentation for all the IT related tasks and troubleshooting.
– Ability and desire to learn new ss and upgrade the existing – quickly.
– Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.
– Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.
