Job Description:
BE Mechanical minimum 5 years of experience. Should have an understanding of noise and vibration engineering basic principles and concepts with adequate mechanics & dynamics background. Be able to produce practical solutions from proven academic concepts and mathematical models for works on transmission control of noise and vibration.
To make extensive noise and vibration measurements using dynamic signal analyzer, viz. Vibration measurements for deflection shapes, mobility impedance model, modal & energy approaches for dynamic models of structural components. Sound pressure intensity array based measurements for noise source identifications and experimental validation of design solutions.
Adequate knowledge in signal processing for making sound and vibration measurements Well verse with static and dynamic design concepts of mechanical components through analytical and numerical approaches, viz. Torsional response analysis for coupling designs and verse with interference diagram, torsional stress and power loss estimations. Be able to carry out vibration isolation designs for static and dynamic design requirements and validation.
Have basic understanding of duct and enclosure acoustics. Should have adequate knowledge and be able to carry out basic finite element analysis for dynamic designs and structural modification of mechanical components.
