Position: Seeking a full time Software Engineer proficient in Java based web applications. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in IT with the possibility of travelling overseas for work related assignments.
Candidate will be entitled to performance based rewards in addition to a competitive salary and be given the flexibility to work remotely.
He / she should be able to work within a team but also be able to make decisions with minimal guidance.
Availability: Immediate
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in system development, integration & testing Enterprise applications
Educational Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from a reputable institute
Technical Skills:
– Be proficient in designing and developing enterprise software systems that are modular and scalable
– Experience in Core Java, JSP, Servlets, STRUTS, JDBC, XML, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, SQL
– Experience working on Linux Systems
– Experience working on web applications based on Apache
– Experience in windows based (.NET) and mobile application development (Android, iPhone and BlackBerry) would be an added advantage
Roles & Responsibilities:
– Perform code reviews and adhere to coding standards / best practices
– Work closely with Team lead to ensure compliance with project deliverables and deadlines
– Proactively suggest new ideas and solutions
Soft Skills:
– Excellent command of verbal and written English
– Excellent documentation skills (Expert level proficiency of MS Word / Excel / Visio / Project)
– Be able to work as part of a team with diverse individuals
