Post of Data Center Management Engineer
Acnet Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, is a world class solution provider in Software, web and mobile application development sector. We are seeking a well experienced data center and network management engineer to manage our web and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should undergo with the below job responsibilities and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities:
– Architect the DC infrastructure
– Monitor, manage, maintain and support the DC
– Deploy and support operating systems, applications and databases in the DC
– Architect, deploy and support backup and disaster recovery methods
– Manage and support the local area network and user devices connected to it
– Design and manage the DC and local area network security
Qualifications, skills and experiences
– A valid university degree of IT system’s engineering/ management or a similar qualification
– Linux and/or Microsoft Server Certification or experience of working in 5+ years of similar environment and management
– Experience with managing a data center
– A working experience with Amazon Web Services would be an advantage
– Thorough knowledge in most of below fields is a must.
Web and DC Infrastructure management:
– Amazon EC2
– Linux and Windows Server
– Apache, PHP, Zend Server, IIS
– VMware
DBA:
– MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL
Applications Support:
– Redmine, Jenkins, SVN
Other:
– Basic networking, Network and Server Security, DB backup and recovery
