Front End PHP Developer
We are currently expanding our web development team and are looking for experienced Front-End PHP developer who really understands what developing for Web 2.0 means. This position requires a hands-on aspects of front-end web interface engineering, an ability to design and build solid architecture that integrates with other systems and technologies, and the ability to communicate these solutions to other members of the team both verbally and in written documentation.
Your awesomeness will be utilized:
– Developing sites from designs and wireframes
– Creating responsive HTML5/CSS3/jQuery layouts
– CMS integration and development
– Working with the other back-end development team to integrate 3rd party content management systems, e-commerce platforms, and other data sources
– Develop and implement modules in PHP and Drupal supporting web application functionality as necessary to meet requirements and design.
Required skills and experience:
– Bachelors of science in computer science, mathematics or similar field preferred
– Minimum 1 year of experience utilizing front-end technologies including HTML4S, CSS/LESS, JavaScript, JQuery
– Minimum 1 year of experience building PHP/MySQL web applications
– Drupal module development experience and an extensive knowledge of the Drupal core API and hook system (not just theme customization).
– Working knowledge of Linux, Apache and MYSQL.
– Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions

– Desire to work in high energy start-up environment
– Exceptional time management (can meet deadlines), problem solving, teamwork, and strong communication skills
– A self-starter, not going to wait to be told what to do and takes it upon themselves to up skill
– Having a fun, fierce, collaborative attitude!
If you’re a ninja in following areas you may gain extraordinary advantage over the other candidates:
– Building Magento stores: developing custom themes, developing custom modules, implementing 3rd party extensions
– Integrating major 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Google maps, Youtube etc.)
– Proficiency in Photoshop
– Mobile Development
