Graphic Designer
The Colombo Plan established in 1950 is an Inter-Governmental Organisation which includes 27 member states and Non Commonwealth Countries. The Colombo Plan is based on the partnership concept of self-help and mutual help, with the objective to improve the socio-economic advancement of its member states. Over the years, the Colombo Plan has
evolved to reflect the needs of member states in a fast changing world economic environment.
The Colombo Plan Asian Centre for Certification and Education of Addiction Professionals was founded in February 2009 as the Training and Credentialing arm of the Drug Advisory Programme. The Asian Centre for Certification and Education of Addiction Professionals (ACCE) is an integral part of the global initiative funded by the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), US Department of State to train, expand and professionalise the global drug demand reduction workforce.
The ACCE is seeking experienced and qualified candidates to apply for the above post.
Preferred Qualifications: Education and Professional Qualifications
– Degree or Diploma in Graphic Designing from a reputed Institute
Experience:
– At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
– Experience in Publication Layout Design and Manuals (Knowledge in Paragraph styles, Character styles, Ink Manager and Colour Profiles).
– Experience in using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
– Acrobat Professional and Adobe Acrobat Distiller.
– Competent with Ms Office Packages.
– Knowledge in Web Layout and Content Management Systems (CMS, HTML 5, CSS, Java Script).
Language Requirement:
– Ability to read and write English.
– Ability to work on right to left languages (Ex.: Urdu, Arabic, Dari, Pashto Etc.)
Other Attributes
– Ability to work on Apple Mac and PC.
– Knowledge in offset and digital printing will be an added advantage.
