Accounts Executive – Hotels / Tourism (Colombo 04)

We are a well-established Group of Companies engaged in various businesses for nearly 3 decades and are in need of a suitable professional to fill the above position in our new business unit located in Colombo 04.
Our new business unit is focused on tourism where we have set up small budget hotels to accommodate foreign travellers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Follow up collection and banking of daily income of business units
• Keeping proper records on receivables and payments
• Effectively manage the working capital and should be able to take responsibility of financial management of the business
• Ensure preparation of timely and accurate management & statutory accounts and reports for operational management
Requirements and Experiences:
• Part Qualification in either ICASL /CIMA.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity is pre requisite.
• Previous experience in the Hotel / Tourism Industry will be an added advantage.
• Be familiar with Quick Books Accounting Package or any other Accounting System.
• Good communication skills in English will be an added advantage.
• Proven Administrative, leadership and management ability in the areas of strategic planning and organizational development.
• Age below 30 years.
