Manager-Corporate / SME Deposit Mobilization

Key Responsibilities:

– Drive deposit mobilization using personal contacts, other contacts or cold calling potential customers
– Meet pre- agreed monthly deposit targets with specific focus on business customers
– Grow our deposit base whilst ensuring deposit raising is achieved at rates which make it profitable for the Bank.
– Work with Marketing on any deposit mobilization campaigns that may be required
– Engage other team members in the Bank to co- ordinate account opening as the job holder should allocate time based on Customer priority/ potential
– Act as the point of contact for specific customers and perform a relationship manager role for liability customers
– Meet customers at their locations and collect all documents required for account opening
– Provide referrals to the lending team for any Home Loan or other lending opportunities
– Assist the Branch or the Credit team when resourcing is required in customer contact touch points.

Minimum Qualifications:

– Fully qualified Bankers or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory

Experience Required:

– Preference is for a retired Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager (or similar role) with an established contact base to mobilize deposits

Attributes and Aptitudes desired:

– Good inter- personal/ relationship skills
– Good communication skills
– Target driven
