Job Description:
Sound knowledge in Connector applications specifically meant for Defense, Aerospace & Railways programs. Strong operational and project management skills. Demonstrated team building and leadership skills. Solid understanding of engineering technical issues/needs, financial, sales, and marketing as related to product design and development. Exposure of tools such as Pro-E & One Space Co-Create software would be an advantage. At least 8 years engineering experience. Qualification: B.E – Mechanical or Electrical stream; Masters preferred.
Develop strategic planning for direction and control of product development activities entaining to Connectors for Indigenization & Global Sourcing Projects. Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, for al l product development. Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements, per the product and/or marketing requirements document. Ensure that the product is fully and correctly defined and documented. Leading a design engineering team and plan resources for design projects. Know-how on Low Cost Engineering Centre set-up and a wide interaction with European & North American Engineering divisions. Ensure implementation of formal processes to support the product development process.
