Web Engineers / Senior Web Engineers
– Collaborate with the user experience and design team to define prototypes of dynamic web pages and JavaScript components.
– Integrate functionality using JavaScript and AJAX.
– Work closely with the back-end development team.
– Implement cutting edge solutions based on technical standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
– First degree in computer Science, Information systems or equivalent.
– 2+ years’ experience in JavaScript with a good understanding of JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery, YUI).
– Experience in jQuery Plugin development.
– Experience in SPA (Single Page Application) development.
– Experience with OOP in JavaScript and excellent OOP knowledge.
– Good understanding of the DOM structure and dynamic DOM manipulations with pure JavaScript and open source libraries.
– Experience with MVC architecture in JavaScript
– Good Understanding and the working experience with server side programming languages (PHP, Python).
– Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Developers from other disciplines with very good object oriented skills who are interested in transitioning to a career in Web/JavaScript development will also be considered.
