Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
– Perfect maintenance of company GL.
– Timely submission of monthly accounts and reports.
– Perfect maintenance of debtors and creditors ledger.
– Maintenance of up to date bank records.
– Liaise with external stake holders [Banks/Auditors/ Tax authorities ect]
– Ensure adequacy of internal control system in place.
– Upto date maintenance of assets registers.
Ideal candidate should possess
– Partly qualified CA/CIMA/ACCA / Graduated in Finance or Business management
– Updated knowledge in Income Tax / VAT ect.
– High competency in MS office applications
– Experience in computerized accounting environment
– Ability to work with minimum supervision
– Must be a good team player and age 35 – 40
– Preferably from Veyangoda area.
Salary – 100,000/- +
