Android Application Engineer (Colombo 03)

Eleos Web is an exciting company, a foreign entity with our headquarters in Singapore. We are a fast growing company with the mission of producing world-class retail systems. Our clients include listed local and foreign companies and our growth will be in the region of mobility retail and payment apps and in this aspect, we are looking for qualified engineers in the Android realm to work in our Sri Lankan office.
We’re hiring Android Application Engineers to develop our cutting edge retail apps for Android tablets and phones. You will work with a small team of talented engineers to continuously improve and expand our products as well
as design the next generation of our core retail systems.
Core Responsibilities:
– Design/implement Android applications from the ground up as well as implementing new features, bug fixes and improving applications performance.
– Work with Product Managers to assess project requirements, explore technical dependencies and report estimates for deliverable fulfillment.
– Continuously promote the investigation and reporting of available open AP|’s and off-the-shelf solutions to maximize development efficiency.
– Work with cross-functional teams to improve the overall product ecosystem.
– Work closely with team architect to improve product quality and functionality
About You:
– 1+ years experience working with Android or Java Swing platforms
– Impeccable understanding of memory management and multi-threaded development.
– Thorough familiarity with network and data storage technologies and their use on Android.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
– Proven ability to deliver in fast paced, collaborative, agile environment
– Fresh candidates may be considered as well as training will be provided
