Job Details:

– Responsible for support, maintenance and enhancements of business IT systems.
– Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and gains an in-depth understanding of product business requirements.
– Develops software components and responsible for creating and executing unit tests.
– Assists in maintaining internal customer facing application and system availability to acceptable service levels to maintain JDA ITG customer satisfaction.
– Communicates the appropriate time lines and status of assigned work and projects.
– Provides and maintain appropriate technical documentation for business IT systems.
– Follows JDA standards to properly comment and document code.
– Participates in code reviews: verify maintainability, extensibility and assure complexity has been minimized.
– Reviews requirements & design for accuracy and completeness.
– Adheres to all JDA policies, procedures, methodologies and quality standards to ensure the highest levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

SharePoint specific roles/responsibilities:

– Provide L1/L2 support to the SharePoint Applications.
– Will also be involved in the planning and implementation of system releases and project phases.
– Interacts with the users worldwide in order to understand customer requirements and provide efficient solutions in MOSS 2007.
– Create and maintain SharePoint portal, sites, lists, shared libraries, wiki/blog sites, forums, user communities
– Assist in addressing business needs using the SharePoint system’s capabilities, features and data.
– Methodological, structure oriented – able to look at the big picture and spot redundant and outdated use of the tools.

Candidate Profile:

– Must have at least 1~3 yrs of hands-on experience with support/maintenance of MOSS 2007 platform and WSS 3.0 including.
– Experience with organizational portal and team site creation.
– Experience with creating and managing SharePoint lists and workflows.
– Experience with use of “out of the box” web parts as well as custom web parts.
– Experience with wiki solutions, forums, blogs etc.
– Strong web designing skills – HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, JavaScript.
– Working knowledge of SharePoint Security, IIS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office integration and server farm design concepts.
– Exposure to .NET 3.5 technologies, web applications, Web Services, AJAX and SOA.
– Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience of working in an IT support environment.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Preferred knowledge/certification of ITIL standards.
