Purchasing Executive

Job Description:

Ensuring Production Lines are fed regularly, dealing with the day to day operations in a 100% system driven environment.

Directly Reporting to:

• The Material Management Team Leader

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain management
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in similar capacity
• Must be able to work cooperatively with suppliers and coworkers
• ERP / MRP systems experience is a must
• Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words. Excel. Access)
• Must be proactive. self-motivated and results driven.
• Ability to work under stress in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the purchasing activities assigned are carried out with accordance to the company’s policy and practice while ensuring on time material supply to production.
• Work collaboratively with the supplies to contribute in establishing strong and good relationships.
• Cost inventory and credit management.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
• Work 100% relying on ERP and MRP system.
• Contribute in preparing forecast reporting and consumption analyses.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Establish and grow great relationships with all other divisions to build a pleasant and efficient environment.
