Job Description:
Detail knowledge of Piping detail engineering / deliverables ; Plot Plan , Equipment Layout, Piping Design, Piping Specification, Isometrics , Stress Analysis, Piping support design , MTO , Material Requisitions, TBA ,Purchase requisitions , Vendor drawing review .Conversant with relevant national and international standards and codes Knowledge about PDS related activities : Clash check report , RDB confict report
Coordination with other disciplines .Design Review ( SPR or Navisworks) .Micro planning of all projects related Discipline activities .
– Review and checking contract document and prepare for KOM
– Attend KOM and resolve all discipline issues
– Review man-hour estimate to arrive control hours after KOM
– Job execution Philosophy / Job notes including special requirements
– Allocate the various areas of project to Designers / Engineers, based on the skill level.
– Participate in generation of key documents
– Provide technical guidance / On job training
– Review of key documents impacting cost e.g MTO
– Progress reporting / Scope change / Schedule control / Productivity / Quality Control
– Conduct Design Review and Quality audit
– Assess technical capability of team mates
– Involvement in updating / developing Department standards
– Conduct periodic technical training
