This is with regarding to an opening for the position of Open source developer.

Technical Ss:

– Experience in web applications development, and knowledge of software development standards and methodologies.
– Ability to take leadership role in proposing, researching and implementing creative technology solutions.
– Hands on working experience PHP, Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, XSLT, os commerce and JSON.
– Hands on experience with LAMP stack – PHP, MySQL, Apache, and Linux.
– Experience in using CPANEL, WHM Panel to perform administration tasks.
– Experience building and working with search technologies / applications a plus.
– Knowledge or experience in CMS technologies like Word press, JOOMLA, Drupal, web services, AJAX and Magneto is a plus.
– Experience working with Windows and UNIX environments.
– Object-oriented design and analysis s including understanding of software design patterns {GoF} and UML a must.
– Experience in writing Linux shell scripts, MySQL stored procedures and triggers.
– DBA ss and experience a plus.
– Expert knowledge in testing methodologies Design testable software from the ning Design effective and reliable test cases.
– General understanding of user interfaces and how they affect applications design.
– Experience with enterprise-level design patterns -Patterns of EAA, Microsoft Patterns and Practices.
– Familiar with Django or willing to learn.

Professional Ss:

– Design and develop web user interfaces which interface with back- databases and other tools.
– Design, implement and support applications and tools used for content management, electronic commerce, web publishing etc.
– Provide technical recommendations and documentation as well as evaluating new technologies.
– Create documentation for processes and implementations.
– Provide test plans and test suites for applications.
– Must be an effective communicator {written and oral}, highly motivated and detail-oriented and conducting JAD sessions with customers.
– Work indepently with minimum supervision and be a valuable contributor in an interactive team environment.
– Ability to work overtime during peak season as needed.
