An Australian Hotel Management Group is venturing into Sri Lanka for the launch of a Star Class Hotel GSH Colombo managed by Acostay Hotel Group of Australia, in 2013 located in the business district of Colombo.

GSH Colombo is on the lookout for dynamic individuals to now join their Accounts Department.

General Accounts

Responsibilities:

– Payrolling 30 + employees.
– Office administration.
– Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable data entry into relevant accounting software.
– Debt Collection.
– Daily banking.
– Spreadsheet maintenance.
– Preparing of reports and general meeting presentations.

Qualifications and Experience:

– Appropriate educational qualifications.
– Relevant experience in a similar role.
– Fluency in English and good communication skills.
– Experience with Hotel computer software and administration software
– Excellent organizational skills.

Accountant Assistant (2 Positions)

Responsibilities:

– Processing and payment of staff wages.
– Prompt payment of reconciled accounts.
– Monthly reconciling of invoices to supply statements.
– Liaising with management to ensure payment of invoices.
– Organising the monthly report.
– Matching invoices to purchase orders.

Qualifications and Experience:

– Appropriate educational qualifications.
– Experience with payroll.
– Relevant experience in a similar role.
– Fluency in English and good communication skills.
– Experience with Hotel computer software and administration software.
– Excellent organization skills.
