Vacancy for General Manager Marketing
As we consolidate our gains in the local market and widen our reach into global markets, we are looking fora candidate of exceptional caliber to come on board as our General Manager – Marketing. The individual we have in mind should possess the stature and innate leadership qualities, as well as analytical and conceptual skills to make the desired impact and sway decisions in our favor in the Sri Lankan and international markets.
Job Profile:
• Should be able to Analyze, conceptualize and implement the strategic direction for the company’s marketing effort.
• Strengthen the Company’s product offering through a sharp focus on innovation and strategic alliances.
• Set up ambitious and realistic sales goals, while training and motivating the team of over 70 sales personnel to achieve such goals.
Candidate Profile:
• Should be an exceptional communicator with excellent spoken and presentation skills in English, Sinhala and preferably in Tamil.
• Possess CIM,UK, or equivalent qualifications as well as an internationally recognized MBA.
• A basic degree in Engineering, Physical Science or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in Marketing & Selling in institutional market.
• Previous experience in building up and managing an island wide distribution network will be viewed favorably.
• Exposure in a Multi-National organization would also be viewed favorably.
• Aged between 35 – 40 years.
Remuneration for the above position will be well above industry norms and commensurate with qualifications, experience and personal attributes of the individual.
