Finance Manager

The ideal candidate should possess the following requirements.

• Collating, preparing, forecasting and interpreting reports. budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and annual company returns and lodgment to statutory authorities
• Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
• Producing long-term financial business plans
• Controlling of relevant income, cash flow and expenditure according to budgets
• Developing and managing financial systems/ models/ procedures/ assessments for the department/ organization
• Recruitment, training, development and supervising staff
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
• Preparation and lodging of schedules (VAT, PAYE, Annual returns etc) to statutory authorities
• Company fixed assets to be accounted for and safety of assets by maintaining necessary insurance policy documents
• System improvements to generate more timely and accurate financial reporting and service
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors. bankers and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue
• Arranging new sources of finance for a company’s debt facilities

Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance field with 5 years post qualified experience preferably in Finance field A Qualified Charted Accountant with preferably CIMA or BSc in Finance Age around 35-45 years
