Academic Coordinator – Business Studies (Colombo 04)

Colombo Institute of Research & Psychology (CIRP) is the pioneering & leading provider of Psychology education in Sri Lanka. The Institute consists of Academic, Research, Corporate and Therapeutic divisions that provide a range of services as their main business avenues. CIRP is currently providing psychology education to more than 500 students in a wide variety of programs ranging from Diploma level to Bachelors and Masters Degrees through its UK affiliations such as Coventry University and University of Hertfordshire.

CIRP is looking for a suitably qualified & experienced individual to be recruited as an Academic Coordinator – Business Division

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

■ Develop the content of curriculum in alignment to the outlines of the programs.
■ Develop the educational process and polices to meet expected curriculum goals.
■ Coordinate programmatic activities with relevant departments to ensure optimum compliance with expected policies and standards.
■ Develop, Organize and Manage academic scheduling requirements for the program.
■ Plan the budget and ensure that the faculty resources available are efficiently made optimum use of.
■ Coordinate and monitor examinations and examination marking pertaining to programs
■ Coordinate the self-evaluation and review process of programs
■ Engage in the daily academic administration activities within the institute.

Requirements

■ The candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree & preferably a Masters Degree in Business Management
■ Minimum three years’ work experience in the education industry and specialized knowledge in curriculum development
■ Excellent management & coordination skills
■ Exceptional command of the English Language & computer literate
■ Pleasant personality & Good PR Skills
■ Self-driven and committed to work within given deadlines with minimum supervision
