Job Description:
As Junior Accounts Executive you are responsible for day to day operational activities of the finance department. When you start working for us you will get training at our office in Sri Lanka with extensive training materials from ISM eCompany in the Netherlands. You will be trained and guided by our Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day to day operational activities of finance department (GL/AP/AR etc.)
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and assist in management reporting and analysis
• Attend all tax matters and audit requirements in timely manner
• Introduce, implement and maintain so.d internal controls, best practice and finance disciplines
Job Requirements:
• Should possess a degree in Accountancy/Finance or Management from a recognized University
• Part qualification in ICASL / ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is preferred
• Fluent command in English, both written and spoken
• Hands on experience in ERP systems, Excel and other MS Office applications
• Minimum or year working experience
• Good knowledge and understanding of local accounting standards and other regulatory aspects
• Ability to function independently with minimum supervision, be proactive, organized and a team player
