Shanti Adventure Tours Pxt. Ltd (Shanti Travel) – (A French & Jetwing Travels joint venture) is a fast developing E-Travel Agency. We are making individual tailor made toms for French. German and Spanish speaking travelers.
We have 4 offices in: India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. but We are expanding rapidly and will be launching
operations in other countries in the near future i.e. Myanmar, Laos etc. The Work environment is very international
and we are constantly looking for ambitious people to join our team in Colombo (Sri Lanka). Presently We are
looking for

Job Profile:-

– Administration of Windows Server 2003/2008 and Active Directory.
– Administration of Network (Router/Switch/Load balancer/Firewall etc) and Virus guards.
– Monitoring system (PC/Laptop/Servers) take necessary actions to optimize performance.
– Ensure all necessary updates and patches are tested and implemented in a timely manner.
– Ensure system backup procedures are implemented and completed in a timely manner as per agreed policies.
– Ensure system hardware, operating systems. software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
– Install and configure Desktop/Laptop/Server/Hardware & Software.
– Support and Development of the IT infrastructure and systems.
– Provide/Create User training and User support/training document from time to time.
– Ensure accurate and detailed records are kept of issues and resolutions.
– Provide out of hours support where required (Be flexible and available in peak season and emergency situation).

Key Competencies:-

A proven technical background in Desktop /Server installation & Administration within a busy and demanding
Microsoft Windows environment.

Have solid experience working with Windows Server 2003/ 2008 and Active Directory implementing policies
monitoring solutions.

Storage experience (Data Backup solutions).

Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, Customer focused and a good problem solver (Networking and
Windows Systems, Hardware/Sofiware, ERP, CRM, HRM etc).

High degree of literacy, analytical and communication skills (Should be fluent in Enghsh – Oral and Written)
Ability to be a team player within a busy IT support environment.

Proactive:- Experience working in and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Experience and Qualifications:-

– IT related Degree or Higher Diploma with 1 year + experience in similar role.
– Proven experience Administrating Windows 2003/ 2008 Servers and Active Directory.
– Knowledge and experience of MS Win XP / Win 7 / Win 8 / MS Office 2007/2010 Administration and Group Policy.
– Knowledge and experience with Routers! Switches and Networking.
– Knowledge and experience with Firewall, Virus guard and Data Backup systems.
– Knowledge about Linux/ CISCO / CITRIX ( / VMwane will be an added advantage.
– Knowledge about ERP and CRM will be an added advantage.
– Knowledge about PHP/My Sql. CMS (Drupal). Web designing/development, SEO will be an added advantage.
– Excellent Communication skills in written and spoken English
– Microsoft Accredited C eitification will be added an advantage.
– CCNA Certification will be added an advantage.
