Accountant/Assistant Accountant
We are in manufacturing industry situated at Dehiwala and in the business over 25 years, looking for an Accountant and Assistant Accountant for early engagement.
Requirements:
• Full or Part qualifications in ICA/CIMA/ACCA or full qualifications in AAT/CMA or equivalent
• Minimum 3 year experience is a reputed Company preferably in the Manufacturing/Aassembly plant holding similar capacity
• Excellent English communication skill in both oral and written
• Experience in cost accounting
• Experience in handling Accounting Software and Microsoft application software such as Excel, Word etc
• Preparation of monthly management accounts with relevant schedules and reconciliations
• Handle junior staff involving with Accounting and Banking
• Handle Bank accounts and short term working capital facilities
• Knowledge on BOI reporting procedures
• Handling VAT/SVAT/NBT/Income Tax etc and attending for such tax matters with the Department of Inland Revenue
• Handle Annual Audit with Auditors independently
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Age below 40 years
Negotiable salary can be expected and will not be below market
