Senior Manager – Finance (Sri Lanka)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Finance for our client, a leading licensed finance company in Sri Lanka. This position will directly report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible In reviewing/ implementing financial policies and procedures to meet the level of business of the Company.
* Responsibility for the financial aspects of the business plans and budgetary control functions of the Company.
* Timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with local and international requirements. Introduction and Implementation of strategic financial and operational management Information systems, effective treasury management, internal controls and budgetary controls, profit and cash forecasts, taxation and tax planning.
* Optimizing the effective use of working capital, ensuring effective financial planning and fund management systems. * Ensure proper business governance and business compliance; maintain a close relationship with Central Bank of Sri Lanka on statutory requirements and reporting.
* Liaising with financial institutions, auditors, department of Inland Revenue and other external institutions.
Review of existing systems and finance team structure with a view to optimizing and streamline of procedure and process. Disseminating Information to senior management, subordinate staff through periodic discussions, meetings and reviews in order to facilitate effective financial and working capital management.
Key Prerequisites:
• Preferably be a member of CA, ACCA, CIMA and CMA or equivalent
• Minimum of 05 years’ work experience at managerial level
• Ability to work and influence at all levels in the organization and to form successful relationships
• Empathy with educational values and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in Finance, Leasing or Banking sector will be a distinct advantage.
