Senior Geologist (Sri Lanka)

MRL Graphite has available a position for a permanent Senior Geologist. Based initially at the administrative office near the town of Warakapola, the successful applicant will have;
1. A recognised qualification in Geology (to Masters level preferably).
2. More than five years relevant industry experience.
3. Up to date knowledge of modern exploration techniques.
4. Competence in common Microsoft software packages is necessary and knowledge Of Mining and exploration software is an advantage.
The position will be responsible for the implementation of the exploration plan on all of MRL Exploration leases, maintaining the quality of documentation in exploration and mining geology and also maintaining obligations of relevant regulatory authorities.
The successful applicant will have company geologists reporting to him.
The position reports to Exploration Manager.
