Front-End Developer – Senior

Responsibilities:
• Code interactive prototypes and production-ready websites, including mobile-friendly responsive designs with HTMLS, CSS3 and Javascript.
• Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect HTML and CSS
• Collaborate with the team to complete web projects under tight deadlines with rapid, iterative cycles.
• Manage web hosting environments and maintain client websites, including making updates that range from small to large.
• Code marketing emails and test with popular email clients.
• Understand project requirements and select the most appropriate front-end toolset for development.
• Not afraid to work outside your comfort zone – some projects might require the use of new/emerging technologies you might not have used before.
• Stay up to date on web standards, development frameworks and best practices to help optimize performance, as well as SE0 and user metrics.
• Ensure that code delivered is well structured, valid, tested and of a high production standard.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of front-end development experience.
• Ability to code websites in HTMLS, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to pull assets from designers’ mockups and export as JPEG, PNG, SVG, etc.
• Understanding of HTML email best practices and how to code for compatibility.
• Experience in custom themeing in WordPress, Magento and/or Drupal, including basic PHP skills.
• Ability to set up and configure hosting environments with MySQL databases.
• Experience in performance optimization using tools such as YSlow or PageSpeed.
• Uses of custom written JavaScript.
• CSS3 and JavaScript Animations.
• Proficiency with responsive/adaptive design techniques.
• Ability to write clean, efficient and well documented code.
• Experience working with SCM tools such as Git, SVN
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or Knockout and modern front-end tools like RequireJS and SASS is a plus
• Preferably should be available to start work immediately
