Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation which is the largest state owned insurer in the country is constantly looking to enhance and revolutionize its level of business, in this mission to expand and develop further, the company is currently on the lookout for knowledgeable and competence individuals to join their dynamic team. Sri Lanka Insurance invites applications for the following position.
Assistant Manager Investigation
This position is opened for those who have a natural flair for investigation with hands on experience in handling such assignments in a methodical manner.
Scope of the Work
• Engage, deploy, instruct and co-ordinate officers for such activities and implement the instructions of the Security Consultant, in carrying out such activities by visiting throughout the country.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with external, government and non-government bodies in relation to investigation matters and maintains a cordial relationship with such bodies.
• Giving leaderships to the Investigation Function in its administration as well as the HR Management of the function and other related affairs and maintaining a proper co-ordination with the other Heads of Functions.
• Take initiatives in probing frauds, misappropriations and other similar irregularities and take preliminary steps in forwarding them for disciplinary action or other legal action.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Full professional qualifications in the field of law, security, management or administration obtained from a recognized Institution and 10 years of post qualifying experience in the investigation field
OR
– A Degree obtained from a recognized University or equivalent qualification with 10 years of post degree experience in the investigation field.
OR
– Retired Staff Officer in the Police or Commissioned Officer of the Military Police of Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Air Force or Sri Lanka Navy who had five years experience in provost – marshal or investigation unit.
– Knowledge in both official languages would be an advantage. Applicants should posses in good physical and mental fitness. Age: Between 45-50 The selected candidate will be on Contract basis
